Krystal Marie Ball
Krystal Marie, born November 24 1981, is an American political commentator. She was previously a political candidate, as an American television host at MSNBC as well as a regular contributor to The Huffington Post, former co-host and host of the show The Hill's Rising along with Saagarenjeti. In the month of May, 2021 Ball and Enjeti announced that they would be leaving the show to release their own independent project titled Breaking Points with Krystal and Saagar. Ball hosts Krystal Kyle & Friends' podcast with Kyle Kulinski. She has guest appearances on Fox News, CNN and Fox News. Ball got married to Jonathan Dariyanani in 2020. Ball attributes her continued interest in politics to her experience as a new mother during the primaries of 2008. She also followed the US presidential election from Jordan when she was working there. She was able to see the impact of the election on people living in Jordan and gained an appreciation of the global impact US politics has on people around the world. She was part of the Senior Fellow member of the New Leaders Council. Ball was chosen by the Democratic Party to represent Virginia's 1st Congressional District in the 2010 election. But she lost to Rob Wittman. She was co-host of the MSNBC program The Cycle from June 2012 to July 2015. She created the People's House Project (a political action committee that is dedicated to Democratic causes) in May 2017.
