Catherine Anne

 Catherine Anne O'Hara, OC was born on March 4, 1954. She is a Canadian-American comedian as well as an actress and writer. O'Hara is the proud winner of numerous prizes that include the Genie Award. In 2018, O'Hara was appointed an Officer of Canada. In 2020 , she received the Governor General's Performing Arts Performing Arts Artistic Achievement Award. O'Hara was first recognized as an actress in 1974, while she was a part of The Second City in Toronto. Alongside John Candy (1975-1978), she was part of the principal cast of the sitcom Coming Up Rosie (1975-1978). O'Hara was a part of Candy in the sketch comedy series Second City Television (1976-1984). She received praise from critics for both her writing and acting skills and was honored with a Primetime Emmy Award, 1981 for Outstanding Writing in a Variety Series. O'Hara was part of the newly formed Second City artistic Advisory Board and was led by Stephen Colbert. Other members of the board included Dwayne Colbert. Tina Fey. Keegan–Michael Key. Julia Louis-Dreyfus. Jane Lynch. Tim Meadows. Peter Murrieta. Suzy Nakamura. Sam Richardson. Jeff Richmond. Jason Sudeikis.
